Q - HOW MANY GUESTS CAN ATTEND OUR CEREMONY?

Q - WHO BOOKS THE REGISTRAR?
A - The venue does not book the registrar. This is something the bride and groom will have to do in advance. First you will have to give your notice of marriage, This can be done at www.essex.gov.uk/get-married-in-essex/give-notice
Q - HOW LONG DOES THE CEREMONY LAST?
A - The ceremony itself typically lasts around 20 - 25 minutes. If you decide to add reading or poems this may take a little longer.
Q - WHERE CAN WE HOLD OUR CEREMONY?
A - Both of our function suites at Woolston Manor are licensed to host ceremonies. The Lounge Suite is ideal for numbers up to 120 guests, while the Taylors Suite can accommodate as many as 250.
Q - CAN I HAVE MY CEREMONY OUTSIDE?
A - We do not offer outdoor ceremonies here at Woolston Manor. However we do have two fully licenced function suites.
Q - WHO ORGANISES THE MUSIC DURING THE CEREMONY?
A - We offer speakers at our venue to play your favourite songs as you walk down the aisle and sign the register. We suggest assigning this task to a member of the bridal party or a family member.
Q - ARE WE ALLOWED LIVE MUSIC DURING THE CEREMONY?
A - Of course! Live music is a wonderful addition to your ceremony, Whether that be a live singer, string quartet, harpist or violinist, we'd be happy to help make it happen!

Q - DOES THE ROOM HAVE AC/HEATING?
A - Yes, our function rooms are equipped with both heating and air conditioning to ensure a comfortable environment for all guests, regardless of the weather. This ensures that your event or gathering will be pleasant and enjoyable, no matter the season.
Q - HOW HIGH IS THE CEILING?

Q - ARE TABLES & CHAIRS INCLUDED?
A - Yes, tables and chairs are included with any venue hire. We provide a variety of table sizes to ensure your event is set up comfortably and efficiently, so you can focus on making it a success. If you have any specific preferences or requirements, feel free to let us know!
Q - DO YOU HAVE DISABLED ACCESS?
A - Yes, we have disabled access available, as we are equipped with a lift that provides easy access to the first floor. We strive to ensure that all guests have a comfortable and accessible experience at our venue.
Q - IS THERE ON-SITE ACCOMMODATION?
A - No, we do not have on-site accommodation. However, we would be happy to recommend several great places to stay in the area to suit your needs. Just let us know, and we can provide you with some options!
Q - IS THE PARKING FREE?
A - Yes, we offer free onsite parking for all event guests. You and your attendees can enjoy the convenience of parking right at the venue without any additional cost.

Q - DO YOU OFFER SECURITY SERVICES?
A - Yes, we can provide security personnel if requested. Please note that this service is available for an additional fee. Let us know if you would like to arrange this for your event!
